Special Aptitudes and Abilities:
I majored in the Graphic Arts field for 3 years at Columbia - Montour A.V.T.S., and I have accomplished skills in the following areas: Page Layout, Letterpress, Process Camera, 35mm Camera, Halftone work, PMT, Masking, Stripping, PlateMaking, Finishing, Silk screening, 1250 Press, Typesetting on the computer 1700, 7300 and MCS, and KOR Press. I was also trained at Girton Manufacturing to run a HTC Press Brake, hand press brake, 200 ton Cincinnati shear, drill presses, hand grinders, belt sanders, electric nibbler, Plasma cutter and a Hydraulic Notcher.
Work Experience:
2001-Current: Employed by Girton Manufacturing Co. and have been for several years. My daily job consists of working in the layout area with drill presses, hand grinders, belt sanders, nibbler, Plasma cutter and a Hydraulic Notcher.
1990-2001: Worked for the Press Enterprise, there I was experienced in front color process and Macintosh full pagination, using NewsEdit ProIque, QuarkXpress, Freehand, Pagemaker, Multi-Ad Creator, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Autokon and color for Family Circus.
1995-1997, 2005: Worked part-time for Greenwood Valley Action Track as their track photographer, shooting feature winners and action shots of go-karts and micro sprint cars.
1997-2003, 2006-Current: Evansville Raceway as their Track Photographer, shooting action shots of Motorcycles and Four Wheelers.
1990-Current: I am also a Part-time Professional Freelance Photographer.
1998, 1999, 2000: I have also covered several Pro National Motocross racing events at Broome-Tioga Sports Center, which have been published in the Press Enterprise (a local newspaper), and several of those photos appeared on MXNationals.com Web site.
2007: Had basketball photos published in the Williamsport Sun Gazette newspaper and also The Daily Review newspaper in Towanda.
1995-1997: I have also been published in Keystone Motor Racing News (a local racing newspaper).
2006, 2007- Current: Motorcycle Racing Action magazine, a District 6 motocross racing magazine.
2007-Current: Part-time photographer stringer for the The Daily & Sunday Review in Towanda, PA.
2000: I was also published in the December 2000 issue of Dirt Bike magazine under the "Crash and Burn" section.
2000-2001: I was published in Pennsylvania Magazine, March/April 2000 issue, Jan/Feb. 2001 issue, in the wildlife essays section.
